New Chiller Has Arrived

Last year, the chiller system which provides cooling in the annex failed. It was determined that this original system installed in the 1950's was beyond repair and needed to be replaced. First Kids, our Sunday morning environment for children, is housed on the second floor of the annex. Our plan is to have a new system installed prior to the start of air conditioning season this year. The budgeted cost for this project is $90,000. First City is currently in a one year pledge drive to raise the funds for this project. We need everyone's generosity to take care of this critical need. Please let us know what you will be able to give (over and above your regular tithe) during 2012. If enough money is raised, we have other physical plant issues that need to be addressed including refurbishing the metal fire escapes from the third floor.
