For your convenience, First City has an account with PayPal. You can donate directly from your existing PayPal Account. If you don't have an account, you can also donate by using a credit card. Or, if you open a PayPal account, you can link to your checking account and pay directly from your bank. PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with the church.

Other Options for Donations Thank you to the First City family and friends for being generous with your time, your talents and your money. In addition to your regular offerings, please consider these additional options: If your bank offers an online billpay service this is likely the easiest method. You can set up First City as a payee, have the check automatically issued or manually issued by you, and the bank will mail a check to the church and deduct the amount from your checking account. If you have appreciated stocks/bonds in your portfolio, you can donate them to First City and receive two benefits: 1) pay no capital gains on the appreciated value and 2) you are still allowed to take a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of you donation. Your brokerage firm can get you the forms you need to complete the transfer to First City. You can also include First City in your estate planning. Your attorney can assist you with a codicil to your will designating the amount of your gift to First City. . . . the Lord Jesus himself said: "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
