Wednesday was our day for sightseeing and shopping. Our first stop was at "Condor Park," a bird sanctuary in the mountains outside Otavalo.
Andean Condor . . . one of the largest flying birds in all the world.
After seeing the birds we walked a nature trail to this waterfall and enjoyed a picnic lunch together before heading to town to do a little shopping.
Shopping in the famous Otavalo market . . . known in particular for its woven goods.
Time for coffee and pie in a local shop . . .
