Upcoming Events

Encounter Worship Sunday: March 29

Please join us for our 5th Sunday, Encounter Worship on March 29. We will be taking more time to focus on worship and talking about what it should look like in our daily lives. This Encounter Sunday, we will put special emphasis on baptism. Also, FC Kids will be closed this Sunday to give all of our families a time to worship together. FC Nursery will still be available for all children under 3 years old.

Serve Month: March

If you haven’t heard already, we are doing SERVE Day a little different this year. Instead of us going out on one day all together, we’re asking each small group to lead a project they get to choose and plan themselves. Our goal is to have each small groups complete their project by the end of March. If you haven’t already picked a project with your group to help serve our community, try to this week and report it to the church office. The church is willing to give each group a $75 gift card to help cover the cost of supplies for your project. Your leader can pick up the gift card in the church office once they have turned in their project. Please remember to take pictures while you are completing your project to share on Sunday, April 26. Let’s show our community how much First City Church loves Pensacola!

Good Friday Worship Night: April 10 at 6:30pm

We will have a Good Friday Worship Service on Friday, April 10 at 6:30pm. Please join us as we talk about the sacrifice that was made for all of us on that day. No childcare will be provided, but families are welcome to attend together as this will be a time of worship.

Easter: April 12

Save the date, be in prayer, and plan on joining us for Easter on April 12. This year we will be celebrating the resurrection with baptisms. Baptism declares to the world you’ve trusted Jesus, joined God’s family, and made a commitment to follow Jesus. It’s pretty special! Baptism is your first step in publicly declaring your new walk of faith in God. If you would like to be baptized this Easter use the button below to sign up now.

Ministry Updates

Parking on Sunday Mornings

Since moving to one service, we know that parking has been more crowded. This a great problem to have because we want this place filled with life on Sunday mornings. With that, we want to encourage all of our members to park in the far parking lot so that our guests have premier paring while they attend. The State Farm parking lot is available for people to park in and the grass along both sides of 13th Avenue. As we continue to grow, we will begin to explore other parking options as well.

Corona Virus Precautions

We are aware of the current situation with the COVID-19. With that, we are taking as many precautions are we can to keep all of our areas as clean as possible for our members and visitors. As of right now, we will continue our Sunday Service at 10:00am for everyone. We will continue to reassess this plan as things continue to progress and spread throughout the United States. For those of you who would like to participate, but don’t feel comfortable attending on Sunday morning, we want to encourage you watch our Facebook Livestream. It will begin each Sunday at the same time as our normal service on our First City Church Facebook page.

Small Groups

We are in the middle of our Spring Small Group semester and we would love to see you join if you haven’t already. We have a group for everyone; married, single, women, men, students, etc. Check out all our groups offered this semester and find the one for you. Contribution Statements

First City wants to thank everyone who has given financially this year. We have been so blessed by all your donations and are looking forward to 2020. As we are quickly approaching tax season, we know that some of you will be looking for your contribution statements for 2019. This year, we will only process contribution statements per request. If you need a copy of all of your recorded contribution for 2019, please email scox@firstcitychurch.org. She can either email you a PDF copy or have it ready to be picked up on the following Sunday.
