All Together Wednesday: December 4th at 6:00pm

Please join us for All Together Wednesday on December 4th. This is a quarterly meeting for members to come together and hear about what’s new at First City. We will begin with a time of worship and then give updates on current and past projects. At the end of the night, we will also have a Q&A time for anyone who may have any questions. If you’re not able to attend, please watch live on our First City Church Facebook page.

FC Student Christmas Party: December 7th at 6:00pm

Silent night? Not tonight. This is our annual FC Students Christmas Party. We want all students in 6th-12th grade to come dressed in their tackiest Christmas attire. Be sure to bring gifts that are $5 or less for a gift exchange. Remember, our gifts are notoriously bad, so remind yourself of this while picking a gift. Here are a few examples of past gifts: a bag of dead batteries that said toy not included, a package of toilet paper, and an old barbie doll. This night is always full of laughter and fun, so please join us.

Ministry Updates

One Service

Starting this past Sunday, we will only be having one service at 10:00am each Sunday. We want to give all our volunteers extra time to rest during this holiday season. We will continue with one service through 21 Days of Prayer in January. With only having one service, we still want to offer a time of worship for our Sunday morning Dream Team members who are volunteering. With this, each Sunday at 9:00am we will have a shortened service just for that Sunday’s volunteers. This service will be called “The 9” and will have a time of worship, a shortened message, and communion. If you have any questions, please email info@firstcitychurch.org.

Christmas at the Movies

We are so excited to announce our Christmas sermon series “Christmas at the Movies.” Each week we will dive into a different classic Christmas movie and pull out biblical principles to apply to our lives during this holiday season. This is a great opportunity for you to invite someone new to join us for a Sunday service. Please plan on joining us for this 4-week series beginning December 1st.
